Nerd Nite Brighton is a relatively new event which takes place once a month and offers attendees the opportunity to have a drink, enjoy themselves and learn about all sorts of different and widely interesting topics; from the science of the Simpsons, to the genealogy of Godzilla! Directly from doctors, scientists, and a whole range of professionals who are incredibly passionate about their chosen topic, recent speakers include a Virologist from the World Health Organisation and a team from the London Science Museum. Nerd Nite is relatively new in Brighton, however, Nerd Nite is a global brand which takes place in over 80 cities across the globe and is growing in popularity.

 

 

Here at I Love Fancy Dress we supplied Nerd Nite Brighton with 250 sets of ‘Geek Glasses’ for a new interactive game they introduced to their latest Nerd Nite event in February rather simply called ‘Glasses on, Glasses off’!

 

The game involves all 250 members of the audience and is like a fantastic mash up of Guess Who and a pub quiz. There are a number of rounds, and each round comprises of a question being asked to the audience, there are 2 possible answers to the question and you answer by either leaving your 'Geek Glasses' on or taking them off - hence ‘Glasses on, Glasses off’! After each round, all those who answered the question incorrectly sit down. After a few rounds there are only a few people left standing who are then ushered on to the stage as the finalists - until only 2 remain.
