The Disney Princess Dream
Isn’t it every girls dream to be a princess? Whether you are 5, 15 or 55. You can’t deny you’d love to spin around in a ball gown and live in your very own palace! Elsa from Frozen to Belle from Beauty and the Beast everyone has their preference - whether they’re old or new! Never give up on your dream.
Just look at Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog, just a hardworking waitress who dreamed of owning her own restaurant. Look where she is now, married to a prince!
In my view, Disney princesses have helped the youth of today aspire to be better people. For example, Frozen has taught children that ‘Your actions can affect others’ – In the film Elsa has magical powers, which she uses to manipulate elements such as wind and snow. During the film Elsa isolates herself from everyone. And ‘Lets her powers go’. Little does she know she has Frozen over the whole kingdom; including her sister! Additionally, the morals in the story highlight to,’ Not judge a book by its cover’, ‘Have self-control’, and so much more. There is nothing wrong being influenced by an animation. Princesses are heroes!
Personally, my favourite princess is Rapunzel. We’d love to know yours!
