The Roald Dahl Marvellous Children's Charity
We were recently approached by the Roald Dahl Charity in order to help them out with their latest upcoming fundraising activity. The Roald Dahl Charity has been established for many years and exists to make seriously ill children's lives better. It helps thousands of children each year in the UK living with serious conditions of the blood and the brain - causes important to Roald Dahl in his lifetime. Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity exists to make seriously ill children’s lives better because it believes that every child has the right to a marvellous life.
We too share the Roald Dahl’s Charities outlook on the life of a child, ensuring that every child experiences a truly wonderful and magical childhood. But then again if we had our way everyone would dress in Fancy Dress all day every day! How much more wonderful and magical can you get? I suppose it depends on the costume choice…
To support their next big fundraising event, the 2015 British 10K, in July the Roald Dahl Charity had the great idea of supplying all their fundraisers with full Oompa-Loompa costumes from one of Roald Dahl’s most popular stories, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Here at I Love Fancy Dress we were more than happy to help, and supplied a large number of our very own manufactured and designed Oompa Loompa costumes:
