Sir Terry Pratchett, one of the most inspirational fantasy authors of our time has sadly died aged 66 - after a long eight year battle with Alzheimer's. The British writer who has sold more than 85million books, in 37 languages was best known for his 'Discworld' series. As well as movies like 'The colour of magic'.

Many people have recently commented on the death. One being, Prime Minister David Cameron said today he was 'sad to hear' of the death, adding: 'His books fired the imagination of millions and he fearlessly campaigned for dementia awareness.'

Suddenly, by the means of social media, fans were alerted of the death. For example, a tweet sent by Terry Pratchetts personal account 'The End.'.
